Take a moment to think about your life- on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being very thankful, how thankful are you? If you’re realizing that you've been struggling with expressing gratitude for the things in your life, it is time to switch from a scarcity mindset to a gratitude mindset! We’re here to encourage you to evaluate your mindset, know the difference between scarcity and abundance, and equip you with the tools to shift your thinking.

Evaluating your Mindset

We want to challenge you to think about your thoughts and pay attention to your overall outlook. Are your thoughts generally fearful, negative, and focused on what you don’t have? Or are they generally hopeful, positive, and focused on the things you do have? If focusing on your mindset the past few days brought to your attention that your glass is half empty rather than half full- don't worry. It may come as a surprise, but there is a name to your lack of focus- the scarcity complex. Our goal is to help you remodel your mind and begin thinking with a gratitude mindset.

Scarcity Complex

A scarcity mindset, otherwise known as a scarcity complex, is the belief that there will never be enough. These thoughts result in feelings of fear, stress, and anxiety. This form of thinking and mindset can be triggered by a number of life experiences including growing up without money or losing a job as an adult. Fear of the unknown can also cause people to think with a scarcity mindset. The scarcity mindset is generally associated with the phrase ‘why is this happening to me?’ When you shake your limiting beliefs and remold your thinking into an abundant mindset you’re able to live to your full potential.

Abundance Mindset

The goal of remodeling your thinking is to unlock your ability to see life with a gratitude or abundance mindset. This form of thinking flows out of a deep inner sense of personal worth and security. It’s grounded in the belief that there is more than enough for everyone. While the abundance mindset is often associated with money, it’s not limited to financial thoughts. It’s about choosing to see the positive and focus on what you already have. With the proper tools, a person can live with an abundance mindset and learn from their traumatic experiences.

Recognizing Your Potential

There is great power in being able to admit that you need to change your thinking. When you actively focus on being grateful for what you have you are more likely to recognize opportunities that match your potential. A huge issue with the scarcity complex is thinking that you’re not good enough for certain opportunities simply because they’re outside of your comfort zone. Stop bogging your mind down with stress over hypothetical concepts where you believe you never have enough. This thinking is extremely limiting to your ability to live a happy, purpose-driven life.

Hypnotherapy for an Abundance Mindset

Clinical hypnotherapy is a great way to remodel your mindset and focus on positive, personal growth. When we believe that we deserve to have enough, and that there is more than enough to go around, this abundance mindset creates more opportunities, more creativity, and more possibilities for us to make an impact and do good in the world. Shake your limiting beliefs with hypnotherapy.
